  17. 50-year-old Barbra Streisand got herself a luxurious long-term
  18. film and recording contract with Sony Corp., estimated at $60
  19. million--$2 million a year for 10 years to develop film
  20. projects, $3 million for each film she directs, and $5 million
  21. for each of six albums. That puts her in a league with Prince
  22. and Madonna, each of whom signed similar contracts earlier in
  23. the year.
